Camping on the Washington Coast
One of my best friends from back home came to visit me last week! We explored almost every inch of Seattle, ate insane amounts of food, and took advantage of the beauty of Washington by going on a mini camping trip to the coast for a few days.

So, I'm not a skier, and I've learned that this isn't a great way to start a conversation with anyone who lives in Washington. Skiing is a very normal part of the culture out here and I'd say 90% of the people who grew up here have been skiing since the day they could walk.

The four-day Thanksgiving break was so wonderful, wasn't it? I got to meet some of Adam's extended family for the first time and they welcomed me with open arms. It was such a fun weekend getting to know everyone!
Beacon Rock
On our way home from camping in Oregon this past weekend, we stopped at Beacon Rock in Vancouver, Washington and hiked our way up to the top.
